Different Versions of the Capture Card

This card can be purchased in 2 different versions.  Both versions are the exact same PCI Card, however the full kit comes with a push button to instantly capture any footage.

The cheaper version is just the capture card itself (without the foot pedal), and still functions within your recording software exactly the same.

Passthrough HDMI & Sound

The C985 from Avermedia has both a HDMI and Audio (3.5mm) passthrough meaning you do not require a splitter.

The HDMI passthrough means you plug your input (from your Gaming PC / Console) into the capture card, then from the capture card to your monitor / TV.

The same applies to the audio.  (This usually doesn't need to be used as HDMI carries audio)
